Setup Fiery Exp 6000

Hello

I try to reinstall the fiery Exp 6000. When I start with the cd of the system software, the cd does not boot. Be that I can re-install Fiery without beginning with the system?

Can I make the istallation on another record(disk) and make it restart with the same record(disk)?
