This one has several of us baffled. We have a TA-520i that is getting a C4100 error. I'm just going to list everything we tried.
1) Reseating connectors
2) Replacing LSU
3) Replacing Drum (we see MC's and drums cause LSU error codes a lot on these, falcon 2 and falcon 3's)
4) Swapped engine board with another we had in shop that was confirmed good
5) Metered the cable from the LSU connector on the frame to the engine board to confirm continuity
6) Metered the bridge in the frame to confirm continuity
7) checked interlock switches to make sure none were faulty
8) Firmware reload
9) 021 and 024 just to be on the safe side
We haven't had a chance to check the machine for a ground problem yet. I've got a tech putting things back together and that will be our next step. Anyone have a suggestion?
(edit: I probably should note that the above list was not done in that order. That's just they way it came out of my head)
