hello guys, I have canon Ir adv C5051 it happens that the machines just stop working I mean everyone in the network cannot print. I went and do troubleshooting check the IP address and ping it no response, try at web browser still no response. check network cable connections look fine. disconnect the copier network cable and plug to the printer working fine so network connection to that cable is good. try to switch the network cable of the printer and the copier still copier doesn't work. no errors on the copier. check IP address, gateway and subnet all fine and correct. IP was set as default to DHCP. and try to set IP to static and cycle the power still not help. delete IP and change it into different IP and cycle the power still no help. make the IP into 0.0.0.0 and set to DHCP and cycle the power machine doesn't grab any IP still the same 0.0.0.0. but when I unplug the network cable to the machine, the machine show on the screen 'check network connection" and when I plug it back it gone. so it means the machine is detecting the network. now any one have this kind of issues here? and updating the firmware of the machine you think will fix the problem? thanks....
