iR2530 sound, noise

Hello.
Customer complains about whistling when printing or copying.
1) Drum unit replacement did not help.
2) Roll lubrication in the paper path also did not help.

The sounds do not appear when the technician arrives.
Testing 200 paper one way and two sides without result.
Someone has similar experiences.

Bizhub c451 color registartion problem - Cyan color shrinks

Hello everybody,

I face with weird problem. My c451 starts to print magenta color 2-3 mm away from original position so i may re-position it within menu. However Cyan colors are shrinking somehow. I am attaching a scan of a test page so you can understand much better.:

Consumable resets are of course done via the control panel but I could really need the ability to reset everything!

Miscellaneous Emptying Waste Toner

Hi Guys,

We are having a debate in our office about whether or not we should be emptying waste toner containers on PM calls,

We have been doing it for years but recently heard its not the best from a health and safety position.

Do you empty them and what's your company policy on emptying?

It would be good to know if you work for the manufacture or independent.

**Could a mod move this into the general copier discussion forum, as its not just relevant for Konica.**

C308 fine pitch variations (2 mm or so approx)

Hello all! Brand new c308, all colours all weights, a narrow banding noticeable in halftone from front to back of the machine.

I thought I'd get an opinion here before replacing belt units, fusers, 2nd transfer Assys, print heads or complete drive units!

It's very fine banding observable especially in halftones of all the colours (about 2mm pitch I think).

Ricoh MP 2554

We were bought by a company who services Ricoh. I had a call for a MP 2554. One of our techs went to the school the company has and he sent me a D197 manual. I wanted to get into service mode but the manual says
Entering SP Mode
For details, ask your supervisor
Anyone have the time to tell me how to get in service mode? I have seen that in manuals before and I think it is stupid they do that. Thanks.


Press Reset 802186 then hold Clear.

MX-4141N guidance

I am normally a Canon guy but I have a customer that has two mx-4141 under contract with me. One has over 400K and other than a couple of drums and a web I haven't done much to it. I have to clean the edge of the fuser film yesterday so I think it's on borrowed time. Can someone provide what I should be doing to this copier considering the mileage and cost to me. Is the fuser something that can be rebuilt and if so any instructions I could get. What about the transfer belt? Can a new belt be put on or better off replacing the whole unit?

Web Connection and Scanner via SMB Not Working C364e

Hello everyone,

I live in Brazil and, first of all, apologize for bad English.

I have a C364e maintenance device that is properly talking to the local network. It prints normally, however, I can not send scanners to the computer via SMB, apparently the machine is in processing with the message waiting on the display. The settings are exactly the same as other test equipment, a C280.

I do not know if there is a connection between the two problems, but when I try to access the WC via IP in the browser there is also no connection. I will share one screen of the scanner's display and another of the browser.

Can someone help me?

Hello

I have that I have not seen before. This is very intermittent. Every so often when copying one of the copies in the set is for lack of a better description cut and pasted. It looks like the image is cut in half from top to bottom. The right hand side is correct and the other side is cut in half again and the top half is on the bottom and the bottom half is on the top. I am attaching a sample. Thank you in advance for any help.

bizhub c35 firmware?

I recently was given a bizhub c35 copier. it works great, but i've got an imaging unit replacement notification. It prints fine for now, but want to do the c35 life stop settings (bizhub C35
Way to change Life attention message (Updated in July, 2013)). From what i read, there is no need to buy reset chips.

the life stop pdf refers to the latest firmware update, so i need to update the firmware, but i cannot find it anywhere. anyone knows where to find the firmware and what the instructions for update are?

5501i series?

My company is not a Kyocera authorized dealer, but have been involved with Kyocera machines as a 3rd party service company for many years now.
We also have many tech certifications on Kyocera's, but dating back to Falcon I series.
For quite a few years we have been rebuilding and selling the Falcon I, II, III series (KM2530,3530,4030)(KM3050,4050,5050)(TA420im520i)
It looks like it may be time to start rebuilding and selling the newer Taskalpha 3501i , 4501i, 5501i
These models are built and look different than the Falcons.
My question to you Kyocera experts is are these machines as reliable or better or worse than the models we have been selling?
Will I be running into a lot of problems?
What do you think?

Wonder that have copier at a customer and it gave background on the 2nd side , i tried to turn back the value from the front door but still the same , also its jammed on both side i noticed that the paper enter the fixing tends and the it gave stationry jam ps4 this after 20 papers .thanks for your help

Just wondering how and where do you set the Tier percentages? We are setting up a Kyocera TASKalfa 3552ci and was wondering how to set this up. I have looked and have not found anywhere in the manual to set this. Is it done thru KFS? How do you do this? First time I have been asked to do is and could use some guidance.

Ok just found where to change this. Now how do I make Level 1 - 1% - 5%, Level 2 - 6% - 10%, Level 3 anything over those amounts.

Hi, All. I have looked in the PC and PSG for the developer part numbers with no success. As a matter of fact, I did not see replacement procedures for just the developer in the service manual. Do you have to buy the whole development unit with developer preinstalled?
