Hi
I'm Canon tech and i'm not familiar with this brand so i need advice from Kyo. guru. Document feeder won't detect originals any more.I already inspect regular issues.Before i start changing sensors is it possible by any chance turn off auto feeder with keyboard?

Ok changed three drum developer units and still get yellow all over page. Is this a bad transfer roller in the transfer belt unit?

Setup a customers 7020 for network print ip all thet neet stuff. I can ping the IP and view the Machines "WEB" page but it won't print. The port is setup port 9100 and raw. Any insights would be greatly appreciaited.

We have been asked to quote a service agreement on several Xerox 5875's. I'm interested to know what's the going rate (including PM Kits and toner); where can a non-xerox dealer get manuals, parts, training on these models? We have 30 years experience in MFPs (mainly Mita/Kyocera) so we not afraid to take on higher volume units; however, I want to make sure we can support the customer.
I'd also be interested in the going service agreement rates for:
Xerox WC3325
Xerox Color Qube 9203
Xerox Phaser 3320
Xerox Phaser 6180N

Hi,
Machine is consistently ripping ribbons(oem from different batches)Problem has been getting worse over last 6 months.Ribbons asre ot problem as I have sold to others and its ok.I have limited experience on machine,any ideas what may be causing problem?

Customer has a FS-4020DN with 437K on the clock. As far as I can see it needs an upper fuser roller, feed/takeup rollers and in the display it says Need Maintenance Kit (or words TTE).
A) Question: Are above mentioned Fuser and Takeup/Feed Rollers included in the maintenance kit? What is that kit otherwise?
Any part # please for all the needed parts.
B) Same customer has also a FS-4000DN with 253K on the clock with exactly the same issues as the previous one. So please also give me the necessary part # if possible.

Can you print page numbers from the driver as a setting rather the the app. I think rifohs used to do it.
i know you can do it whilst copying

Hello group - I am some what new to using the Risograph so please be patient with me. We bought a used Riso GR3750 from a local Church and was wanting to put it to work in our Church .. it has one million on the counter so it is just breaking in from what I have read on these units. It prints perfect .. text looks great .. the whole machine is working as should from what I know about it ... the trouble we are having is .. ink smearing .. even after a page sits overnight .. you can still run your finger across the text and have a ink smudge .. not that it is wet, but much the same as the old carbon paper would do in the days long ago .. So, is this an ink problem .. it came with OEM Riso ink ... even when we set the machine to make it lighter .. we still have this trouble. Is the some other brand ink that dries faster? we are lost as to what is the next step ... Thanks in advance for any and all help ~ David

Had a truely strange 455 problem. The symptom was the machine would sit there and every few seconds would restart its self. After replacing the power supply I finally noticed that the machine would behave normally with the cat 5 cable unplugged. Narrowed it down to the user , cleared her print que and problem went away. Narrowed it to one web site she was trying to print something from(using internet explorer). When she would use chrome it would print fine. Never seen a problem like this that would cause the machine to look like its constantly restarting.This took all afternoon to figure out so maybe it will save someone else the headache. Dances.

I have a MP2553 that at start up out of the box I got a 672-11 code. Removed the controller and checked all connections, went to power up and machine was dead. Checked all fuses and voltage to PSU, not a single light or noise. Any ideas, Thanks.

A Real Eye Opener.
This machine appears to have two screws that hold the Developer unit in when shipped. They are removed so two cams can push the developer unit to the drum.
If you take this machine apart and spend a few hours doing a full PM, be careful not to put screws in these holes.
It looks like they are needed but the cams will hold the developer unit in place when you reinstall the front panel.
If you put the screws in it will hold the developer unit from the drum resulting in a small 10% copy with most of copy blank on right side.
